The courtship lasted a-year-and-a-day, the engagement will likely be of similar duration leading to a late-June 2011 wedding.
Those interested in details of the Virginia-mountain-proposal will have to appeal to this blogger's fiancée!The ring pictured is the one Jeri Watson and Laura Benzing gave me last winter as their way of saying I was moving too slowly... the actual engagement ring is considerably smaller.

Felicidades, Greg and Grace! Isn't it great to know we serve a sovereign God who has wonderful plans for our lives. I'm glad He planned you for each other. God bless you both!
Congratulations to both of you. God bless you both.
Love, Joey, Odette
Wow!! What an exciting weekend with Greg and Grace. We thought we would enjoy a lovely time of getting to know Greg, and we did, but this beautiful mountain exploded with the news that Greg and Grace were engaged. The awesome beauty of this mountain took second place to the exciting news of their engagement. Thanks for allowing us to be a part of this exciting happening in your lives. Although, we sometimes go through very difficult and turbulent times, God is there all the time, and in perfect control. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, in all thy ways acknowledge him, and he will direct you ways." Prov. 3:5-6.
We love you and pray God's very best for you, as you continue your jorney together with him. Much love to both of you, Uncle Keith and Aunt Lou
I laughed when I saw the ring. Leave it to Jeri and Laura to give you a "little" hint in a "big" way. Congratulations you two. May God continue to bless you richly.
Many congrats to you and your new fiancee, Greg! So happy for you both!
