I know everyone thinks they have the coolest friends... we really do! Some of Lana's dearest made sure this bench at the entrance to our school building (given in her honor by Patty Stump's Bible Study group) was trimmed in her favorite flowers (hydrangeas). "Mil flores" (their Spanish name) grew like wildflowers (seemingly) in El Crucero, Nicaragua (a little town 10 miles up the mountain from our house in Managua)...Tim's team completed a clean-sweep of its opponents this week, dropping Erwin 10-8 today (Tim was 2-for-4 with a pair of singles). Next week (our Easter break) they'll be playing in the Mingo Bay Classic (a 40-team tournament) in Myrtle Beach, SC!
I am hoping to take lots of pictures and keep you bosted on this blog.

I had lunch w/ Ginny on Wednesday and Lana's name came up. We remember her fondly and her memory lives on.
So glad the baseball team is doing well! Hope you have a great time in Myrtle beach over Spring break...Wish Stevo was still playing. I will be checking your blog for game scores!
