Good Friday

A camera-phone shot of a scene from today's Tenebrae service @ACA... my apologies for its lack of clarity, but since "tenebrae" is latin for "shaddows" it might be fitting for a performance designed to help us "focus" on the sacrifice borne for us by Jesus on Calvary's cross.

In the category of "Small world, really BIG God", our girls basketball coach, Dottie Edwards' oldest son, Stephen (a sophomore at Wake Forest) will be spending the month of August in Managua, Nicaragua working in a partnership between his College (of Management) and the vocational ministry founded by my good friends, Mike and Lauren Deibert. Check out: www.esvoministries.com
It is truly amazing what God is doing through the Deiberts, especially when you consider that most of the young men they've worked with come to them with very limited educations!
