68 years ago today, in the words of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, "the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan"... The warm relationship we now share with Japan is testimony to the wisdom of our leaders in seeking to be "gracious in victory".
Pictures from the Christmas Banquet are starting to trickle in... here's one from the shuttle the guys hired to take them from their meeting place to the banquet hall on the Biltmore Estate... they described it as "kind of like a limo, but a lot less expensive and with room to stand up" :-)
