If I were Korean, I'd be 53 today (or in my 53rd year?); as I understand it, (in Korea) the day of one's birth is his first birthday (kind of makes sense, doesn't it?)
I'm having an exceptional day... Kara took me out to lunch and plans to stay through the baseball game and dinner. These three ladies did a little baking, so visitors were treated to fresh-baked spice cake, apple and pecan pie!

The one negative is that my lap-top has contracted a nasty virus and I'll be forced to find alternative ways to access the life-line to my extended family (I'm making this entry in the school library.)
