It's my "Connect Group" teacher, Steve Cooper's birthday; here he is with his wife, Freda... they do a terrific job leading our class on Sunday mornings and all throughout the week.I Thessalonians 5:16-18 has been the theme passage for my year. It reads, "Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." It goes well with the unit on prayer Steve has been teaching and this morning's sermon exhorting us to prioritize our families.
