We went to a varsity basketball game at Christ School this evening; at halftime, they pulled a dozen people from the stands and told them the first person to hit a shot from half-court would win $100... Tim drilled his second attempt!!!! It's funny, I knew he was going to win; when he played basketball in 8th grade, he always used to win the half-court contests they had at the end of practice; he had trouble with the easier shots, but he was "king of the half-court"... I thought it a rather useless skill until they presented him with that hundred-dollar bill tonight!
