We hired the Central-American! How exciting to finally have a full faculty for the coming school year... especially since orientation for new teachers starts Monday! Again, I meant to take a picture of Edgar to post on my blog, but suppose it will have to wait three days... all the new teachers are coming over for lunch their first day on the job, and I'll give Tim the assignment to get me a picture...
He and his teammates are scheduled to play in their first-ever soccer jamboree at Azalea Park tomorrow; they'll take on North Buncombe at 11:30 on Field 1 and Pisgah at 2:30 on Field 4... They'll be playing a 50-minute game against each opponent; it should be a great little pre-season tune-up... come on out if you're in the area; admission is free!
