How often do we get to see a photo of a one-day-old in a car seat?!



I suppose when you're over eight pounds at birth it's more likely the hospital will give you your "walking papers" early ;-)

Another Birthday

Damion Michael Craw entered this world at approximately 1:00 p.m. (Montana time), tipping the scales at 8 lbs. 2 oz.

Pictured here with his Aunt Caitlyn. Damion is the second child of my niece, Chelsea and her husband Adam Craw... she (mom) is the second child of my brother Steve and his high-school sweetheart/wife Kim... now proud grandparents for the third time!

Spring Break!

A lot of catching up on the grading, a little yard work, some quality time with our 9-week-old grandson and his parents, and a couple of days in Orlando with this blogger's mother, sisters and other family members!

One more day and this proud grandma and I head back to "the front-lines" of our current mission-field ;-)

The 2012 State Spanish Conference Team raised the bar with this weekend's performance in Orlando... it was Fleming Island High School's second trip to the state-wide academic competition;
my 17th as a sponsor (the first 15 were with Gainesville High)...

Divisional Champs!

Grace's Scholar Bowl team closed out its undefeated season winning today's match over Julia Landon College Prep MS on an extra question, after being tied at the end of regulation!

She made the team shirts herself, generating iron-ons from our home computer!
