The 2012 State Spanish Conference Team raised the bar with this weekend's performance in Orlando... it was Fleming Island High School's second trip to the state-wide academic competition;
my 17th as a sponsor (the first 15 were with Gainesville High)...

Divisional Champs!

Grace's Scholar Bowl team closed out its undefeated season winning today's match over Julia Landon College Prep MS on an extra question, after being tied at the end of regulation!

She made the team shirts herself, generating iron-ons from our home computer!

Two-Thirds (February 19th)

This is the sunrise on the last third of our first year of marriage!

It was also the 5-year anniversary of Dad's departure for Paradise... wonder just how beautiful the sunrises are there!

56 in '56

56 years ago today!

A little under 15 months later, yours truly ended their DINK (double-income, no kids) status... couldn't have hand-picked a better set of parents.

Dad left this earth eight days short of five years ago... Mom continues to bless the four generations of her family still here with her undying devotion to her
life-partner and care for the rest of us!

Joshua's Due Date

Grace said he'd be here "early" given her experiences giving birth to three of her own.
